Keladi situated to the north east of Sagara town, was the first capital of the Keladi Nayakas. Its around 12 km from Sagar town in the Shivamogga District of the Indian state of Karnataka. The capital was later shifted to Ikkeri.
The Rameshwara Temple & the Veerabhadreshwara Temple are the major attraction in Keladi. The temples were built during the early 16th century with mixed Hoysala & Dravida styles. Some parts of the temple has wooden pillars & ceilings with beautiful carvings.
