Rishikesh (Hindi: ऋषिकेश) is a city in Dehradun district in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. Its on the foot hills of Himalayas, so also called "Gateway to the Himalayas" Rishikesh attracts a lot of pilgrims & tourists from all over the world. Its also some times referred as "World capital of Yoga"

Getting there:
Rishikesh is located just 20 km away from Hardwar on the NH58. So transport to Rishikesh from New Delhi is same & from Chandigarh one can take via Dehradun.
By Air:
Its again the same airport - Dehradun's Jolly Grant Airport is around 15 km from Rishikesh
