Shimla (Hindi: शिमला ), the capital city of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, is one of the most beautiful hill station in India. Located on the north west of the Himalayas at a height of 2200 meters, its covered by the forest of pine & oak trees. Climate is pleasant during summer & cold & snowy during winters.

Its around 120 km from Chandigarh

By Rail:

The nearest broad guage railway station is Kalka, from Kalka to Shimla its a narrow guage, this scenic route is one of the most beautiful railway route & its been recently granted the UNESCO world heritage site.

By Air:

Shimla has an Airport which has flight connectivity to major cities like New Delhi & Mumbai. Chandigarh which is the other nearest option has flight connectivity to all major cities in India.
