Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary (Kannada: ರಂಗನತಿಟ್ಟು ಪಕ್ಷಿಧಾಮ) in Mandya District of the Indian state of Karnataka, is a very beautiful Bird Sanctuary on the banks of river Kaveri. Thousands of birds migrate from various countries like Germany, France, South Africa, Japan, ... to this sanctuary during end of winter & summer (Jan - June). April/May is the peak time when you find lots of birds of different variety. End of June they start returning back.
